I am partnering with a highly respected, £500m+ turnover financial services organisation to recruit a Senior Manager – FP&A.

The Role:
This is a senior leadership role within Group FP&A, responsible for leading the planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles across a complex operational and project cost base. You will play a key role in driving strategic decision-making, delivering insightful performance reporting, and partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.
 
You will:
  • Lead the Group annual budgeting and re-forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Develop and own robust financial models for long-range planning, scenario analysis and stress testing
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve the accuracy and quality of plans
  • Deliver monthly performance reporting, providing clear insight on KPIs, trends, risks and opportunities
  • Present financial performance and strategic insight to Executive Committee and Board
  • Own and optimise the operational and project cost base, driving efficiency and robust business cases
  • Lead, develop and coach a team of 5, building a centre of excellence within FP&A
  • Continuously improve FP&A processes, systems and reporting capabilities

About You:
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 5+ years PQE
  • Proven FP&A or Commercial Finance leadership experience
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability
  • Track record of leading budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Confident influencing senior stakeholders, including Exec and Board level
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insight
  • Advanced Excel and experience improving FP&A tools and processes
  • A leadership style that drives accountability, performance and continuous improvement
