Company deep dive

  • Gaining an understanding of your organisation, business strategy, culture, employee value proposition.
  • I look to develop an understanding of the role, outputs/metrics, fit in the team.
  • We will define the candidate profile, background, qualifications, behaviours, and competencies.
  • I will provide information on local competitors’ hiring companies that are recruiting for a comparable position and salary.
  • I will review your Glassdoor, Indeed and other associated employee feedback forums.
  • I also review your corporate website and online brand presence.
  • I will relay information regarding labour market trends.
  • Finally, we will together create the recruitment timetable and process for delivery of the project.

Together we will identify which of the principal elements of the company’s employer brand we need to focus on to attract our target pool of candidates- from the following:

A multidiscipline targeted approach

  • I will identify and target competitor hiring companies and sectors via various sources.
  • Good people know good people and most of my candidate placements are from referrals – targeted referral programme.
  • Advertise the role via multiple job boards.
  • Search my own database on registered candidates.

 

Screening

  • I will undertake extensive competency-based interviews against the functional role profile coupled with alignment to your organisation's values and culture.
  • Check all candidates right to work in the UK – via digital government approved system.
  • Check candidates ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualifications via relevant directories.
  • Focus on prospective employee engagement, relay positive, insightful information regarding the company, culture, team, hiring manager.

 


Submit

  • I will create a longlist of prospects suitable for the opportunity and conduct preliminary discussions/validation/referencing across my network.
  • Define a shortlist of relevant profiles.
  • Delivery of shortlisted candidates with supporting summary and analysis
     

 


Prepare 
Ensure all candidates are fully prepared for the interview.

 


Interview 

  • I will arrange all interviews and coordinate all the company’s specific assessments dependent upon the company recruitment process and subsequent stages.
  • I can provide examples of candidate presentation topics relative to the role if required. 
  • Organise a debrief session with the hiring manager to discuss interview feedback.
  • Advise whether the recruitment process needs to be adapted for neurodivergent people.
     

 


Offer 

  • I will present the offer to the candidate.
  • I will manage the resignation process with the candidate’s existing employer.
  • I will ensure regular interaction between both parties during any notice period.
     

 
Acceptance 

  • Offer acceptance by the candidate, I will forward you a copy of their digital right to work in the UK.
  • I will also provide proof of ACCA, ACA OR CIMA qualification.
  • I am also happy to undertake employment references on your behalf – as required.
  • I always send my candidate a congratulations gift.
