Commercial Finance Manager (Bids & Contracts)
£75,000 – £85,000 + £7,800 Car Allowance + Bonus
Chippenham – Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)
9–12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Potential to become permanent)
I am working exclusively with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager to support their bids, pricing and contract-related activity.
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role, where you will work closely with operational and commercial teams to deliver robust financial modelling and analysis that supports key business decisions.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working in the detail, building models and supporting live commercial activity, rather than operating purely at a strategic level.
The Role
- Build and maintain financial models to support bids, tenders and customer proposals
- Provide financial input into pricing, costing and contract negotiations
- Deliver accurate and timely analysis to support commercial decision-making
- Review and validate quotations and pricing outputs prior to submission
- Work closely with commercial and operational teams to gather data and validate assumptions
- Support contract profitability analysis and ongoing performance tracking
- Maintain key data including pricing assumptions, funding rates and deal structures
- Support commission calculations and reporting linked to commercial activity
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and financial controls
About You
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience in a commercial finance, bids & pricing
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, delivery-focused environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data
- Confident working with commercial / non-finance stakeholders
